Economy Class Rental Cars

Economy class rental cars are larger than the mini class and are sometimes known as ‘superminis’ in Europe or ‘subcompact’ in North America in car rental lingo. These cars are usually small and lightweight designed to be easy to drive and light on fuel. Ideal for those of you who want something larger than the mini class for a combination of city and longer drives but still ensuring excellent low cost fuel efficiency. These cars typically have five doors, can seat up to four passengers comfortably and have room for luggage.

Compact examples:

Toyota Tazz, Lancia Ypsilon, Fiat Punto, Volkswagen Polo, Renault Modus, Renault Clio, Opel Corsa, Peugeot 206, Seat Ibiza, Smart Forfour, Citroen C2, Hyundai Getz, Nissan Micra, Ford Fiesta or similar economy car classes.

At Car Booker we have a variety of rental cars in this class. There is an example shown here, however, it is important to note that your exact rental car may not be this model as cars may vary from country to country. If you would like to see a full list of the rental cars available in your destination country, then simply do a comparison search.
